Encouraged by the new administration’s position on environmental issues and energy conservation, Absolute Steel is busy tooling up for more demand in their products by modernizing their internal software technologies and refocusing their marketing efforts on the environmental aspects of their building system. This modernization and the new marketing effort will allow them to be more efficient in a company already known for its quality and make the consumer aware of the environmental aspects of their products at the same time.
Absolute Steel’s steel building system is in use throughout North America and the company has been a contract supplier to the Federal government for several years, having its pre-engineered steel structures proven and in use by all branches of the US Armed Forces. The building system, known as “America’s Easiest to Install Steel Building System”, is a unique galvanized steel building system which is truly a breakthrough in construction simplicity; designed to use a minimum of modular components and easily assembled by unskilled labor with common tools.
Well known for its obvious advantages: economics/low capital outlay, ease of transportation and speed of erection, durability and wind resistance, Founder and CEO Dean Thomas, says the best part about Absolute Steel’s building system and a feature never really focused on before in the company’s marketing efforts are its environmental features. “We’ve been so busy fabricating our system for the people looking for value and price that we’ve never really focused on the environmental issues that our system offers,” says Mr. Thomas. “It’s not often that the consumer can be cost effective and environmentally conscious at the same time, yet Absolute Steel clearly offers that and has for years. Its time we took responsibility for this aspect of our marketing.”
All Absolute Steel’s products are comprised of 67% recycled and 100% renewable materials, a claim difficult for most any other company to make. Significant other environmental advantages are that the system requires little maintenance such as painting which releases potentially harmful contaminants into the atmosphere and the maintenance of the structure is entirely pest free which alleviates the need to use pesticides and poisons. Moreover, when the economic life of the structure is used up, which lasts for longer than conventional methods, the components can be recycled again rather than going into a landfill.
