Unless otherwise noted on our website, you can receive jobsite delivery for an extra charge of $85. Arizona jobsite deliveries are available only on a “pre quote” basis.
Note: Jobsite delivery is not recommended unless you have a lifting device such as a forklift on site. This carport kit is 10’ 6” long and can’t be lifted by a single person and could cause injury to anyone attempting to remove it from a carrier without proper equipment.
Picking up the kit at the nearest freight terminal to your zip code is the way to go. They have a forklift onsite and can lift it into the back of a pickup truck or your trailer. When we ship, we will furnish the carrier with your telephone number so that they will contact you when it arrives at the terminal. As well, we will call you and give you the Freight Bill # so you can track it when it ships from our yard. That way you’ll have a head’s up as to when to expect it.

It sometimes happens that a kit gets damaged in shipping. Not often mind you, because our portable carport kits are virtually unbreakable but it can happen that the forks to forklift dent a part or the shipping bands come apart and you might think a part is missing. If that should happen please note that on the delivery slip and if you have a digital camera, take a picture for us.
If that occurs please get a copy of the delivery slip or the digital picture to us immediately. That way we can get reimbursed from the shipper or our insurance carrier. Bear in mind though, we will ship any missing or damaged part out to you immediately.
It really doesn’t happen often though because our kits are made of heavy gauge steel and we use the two best shippers in the business: ourselves or Fed Ex Freight!
We searched all over the Internet to compare pricing and Vela Canopies was the only one proud enough to post their pricing online. That tells you how the others are going to price their goods and you’re going to wait for the call to hear the inflated prices too.
